Frequently Asked Questions from Parents

Welcome to our Database of Parents' Frequently Asked Questions!

Perspectives on FAQ's

Some questions have only one correct answer. For example, the only correct answer to “How much is 1+1?” is “2.” Questions like this are answered the same way, no matter who is being asked.

While it can be nice to know that there is a clear right and wrong answer to your questions, we all know that many questions in life do not have one “right” answer. There are often multiple perspectives about what the “right” answer to a question is. This is especially true when it comes to questions about raising children and navigating ever-changing service systems.

We have created a database of parents’ frequently asked questions (FAQ) that provides answers in the form of “Perspectives.” For every question in the database, staff obtain responses from a wide faculty of experts to assure a variety of authoritative perspectives on each answer. The “Perspectives” approach to FAQ gives parents access to the best possible information so that they can make the best possible decisions for their children.

Contribute Your Own Questions

We are always adding to our database of “Perspectives” as parents and professionals ask us new questions. If you have a question that is not in the database, PLEASE email it to us! We will submit it to our faculty of experts to get their Perspectives on it, and then we will add it to our database.

**We will soon have an online form for submission of FAQ suggestions. Check back often!
